The place

Bed & Breakfast “’Bel & break” is situated in San Raffaele Alto, the historic center of the village San Raffaele Cimena, 2.5 km from the center La Piana. This quiet village in the green hills offers an enchanting view over the Po-plain with in the background the mountain range of the Alps.
San Raffaele Alto was builded around a Castle, the most important construction in this pituresque old village. A restaurant nearby the Bed & Breakfast offers Piemontese dishes at a fair price. In the Center La Piana (3 minutes by car) are to be found a postoffice, two banks with cashpoint, a pharmacy, a library, some shops and cafés.
San Raffaele, situated between Piemonte’s capital Turin and the smaller city of Chivasso, is an excellent starting point to discover places where art, history, culture and gastronomy come together.
Turin with its splendid buildings, magnificent Savoy residences, beautiful churches, the Duomo where the Shroud is kept, The Egyptian Museum, the Mole Antonelliana, simbol of the city, with the famous Film Museum.

The Venaria Residence, the Basilica of Superga, the Abbey (Sacra) of S. Michele, the Abbey of Vezzolano are only a few of the many jewels around Turin. And we still didn’t mention the wonderful hills of the Monferrato and Langhe area and the mountains of Piemonte and Val d’Aosta. ....there’s no time to get bored.

And if you want a relaxing day in San Raffaele, you can find a peaceful place, far from traffic and noise, good for pleasant walks in the woods around the village. Only one step away the beautiful nature reserve “Bosco del Vaj”
